The key additions are particle leaves, some blowing in the wind from the tree and others landing on the ground.
The portal and stones are animated with an energy field, while the mushrooms and clouds are animated to move and produce additional particles.
The river is also animated with ripples periodically splashing out across the water. Also just above the river the frog monster is breathing/ribbiting.
