AZUKI
Azuki (Azuki.com), is a brand with an anime aesthetic, their marketing materials have all been extremely high quality with a professional finish. At the time of writing they have just revealed their website with much more details to be released over the coming weeks. The below is the trailer video from the Azuki twitter and the base image I used for the animation.
Azuki are creating a promising and lively community, I wanted to contribute by animating one of the revealed artworks.

I challenged myself to animate the motion of the character lifting the baseball bat and dropping it down onto their shoulder. This was an animation I attempted years ago and I could not get it to look right, I’m pleased to see that my skills have improved over the years to create a stylised yet convincing set of movements.
